The Robotic Operating System (ROS) Architecture
Objective
The objective of the thesis is to study the Robotic Operative
System (ROS) and investigate its possible applications to the
robotic platforms available in the Robotic and Sensor Fusion
Laboratory. In addition, the design of a dummy node to be
integrated within the ROS architecture might be of interest
(to futrher discuss with me).
Required Skills
The candidate should be familiar with the Linux Operative System. A good knowledge of the C/C++ programming languages might be required to address the second part of the thesis (optional).
